Terms of Service
Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to https://fidius.app and the Fidius web app. By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using Fidius, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service
Fidius is web software for private tutors and their students: lesson schedules, student records, payments and receipts, and the tutor’s subscription to Fidius. Students join only with an invite from their tutor.
Fidius is not a payment processor. Students pay the tutor directly. Fidius only records lessons, balances, and receipts that you enter.
Connecting Google Calendar is optional and is separate from signing in. Calendar access is never used to create a session. If a tutor connects it, Fidius only reads calendar events the tutor chooses to import as Fidius lessons. Fidius does not create or change events in Google Calendar.
Provided “as is”
Fidius is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation. Features may change. We may suspend or discontinue the service.
Your data and your responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter (students, lessons, prices, receipts, payment details) and for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for how you use data about your students and for complying with laws that apply to your teaching practice.
You should keep your own copies of records that matter to you. You can export data from Fidius; we are not your archive or backup of last resort.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fidius and its operator are not liable for lost profits, lost data, missed lessons, payment disputes between tutor and student, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or from inability to use it.
Our total liability for any claim relating to Fidius is limited to the amount you paid us for the Fidius subscription in the three months before the claim, or zero if you used the service without a paid subscription.
